St. Elizabeth Community Hospital prides itself on providing compassionate, award- winning care. For more than 100 years, St. Elizabeth has focused on a tradition of excellence in health care, and has worked its way to become a state-of-the-art facility sought after by many out-of-the-area patients. From our Center of Excellence designation in joint replacement surgery to our private room setting, our mission is to provide quality care in all cases.
We have a leading edge Imaging Center equipped with DEXA, CAT scan, ultra sound, echocardiogram and digital mammography. We have also recently installed an unsurpassed diagnostic MRI with TIM technology and will begin offering PET CT in the winter of 2007. Our board- certified radiologists and technologists offer critical expertise and online delivery of most images.
Additionally, we have recently acquired a beautiful, well-equipped Outpatient Surgery Center, staffed by our award-winning surgical support team. This new facility is located less than a quarter of a mile north of the main campus and includes three surgical suites and an endoscopy room.
In the event of more traumatic cases, St. Elizabeth enjoys the support of the larger CHW system and can refer cardiac, NICU, and other cases to our sister hospital, Mercy Medical Center Redding, located 33 miles to the north.
Upon your arrival, the St. Elizabeth team will provide you with information about the hospital and the departments/services that are provided. The St. Elizabeth management staff is a highly motivated and functional team dedicated to supporting our patients and responding to your requests and needs. We know you have a choice when deciding on the location of your practice.
