Emergency Food Program
Lending a hand when others can't
Beginning in 2008, St. Elizabeth Community Hospital is partnering with Corning Christian Assistance to provide emergency food to Tehama County residents in need. A grass roots effort and one made up of several Corning churches, Corning Christian Assistance provides a 4-day supply of food to families facing emergencies and life's unexpected trials and tribulations.
Additionally, Corning Christian Assistance provides referrals to families in need of other services such as job placement, job training, family assitance just to name a few.
Corning Christian Assistance envisions a community where hunger is unacceptable - since 1992 they have provided food with compassion and dignity to Tehama County families in need.
