Medical director Dr. John Kemp brings twenty years of sports medicine expertise to Red Bluff from Denver, Colorado. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is one of only two orthopedic surgeons in the north state awarded a sports medicine subspecialty certification by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Kemp served as the medical advisory to the largest school district in Colorado and was the team physician to three high schools. He has worked extensively with recreational, competitive, collegiate and professional athletes from all sports. His oldest daughter was a standout high school soccer player who tore her ACL her senior year and went on to play four years at Wake Forest University on a full athletic scholarship. His son recently competed with the US National Team in England, Uruguay and Argentina and will play soccer for the University of Maryland in 2009.
